# Welcome!
### Welcome to PCC DAO!
We are entering the next phase of the Internet, which will be a new milestone, where we map reality to virtual reality through WEB 3.0. In WEB 3.0, we can be anyone, go anywhere, do anything, all on our electronic devices. We no longer need to worry about buying the best house, the shiniest car, the best clothes, interacting in person, making friends, or finding a spouse; we can simply log into the false reality where we have almost everything we want.
We already know that Google, Apple, Twitter and countless other companies in the shadows collect so many data points on each of us. It's no longer "for advertising purposes only" and innocently named "cookies" in our browsers. Each of us is a data set. At this point, these companies know more about us than we do about ourselves. That's why they are worth trillions of dollars. Data has an extraordinary value. But this value, which has never belonged to us, is more often used by Internet companies to earn money for advertising services, which, yes, they cannot provide for us without compensation.
Our preferences, personalities, habits and needs are distilled into algorithms that track every click, location, like, time spent, item viewed and product purchased. With the help of machine learning and huge data sets, these companies know not only what we like, but what we might want to buy, be or do. They can now guide and direct us. We are nothing more than a stream of data in an algorithm. The concept of free will has just become an apparent illusion.
DAO will allow us to reclaim the value of our identity, and we will be able to control our data and live the lives we've always wanted. You may imagine the future of work as a business game where you can be any character you imagine and go on a whole new fantasy journey. There is no need to envy the virtual world of the movies, PCC DAO will allow you to dive into it and become part of the virtual world.
